Rain! Rain! And More Rain …….. then…..

It has been raining here in Belize, a little or a lot, almost every day. The old adage of 'When it Rains it Pours' certainly can hold true, regarding both the weather and life.

Fortunately, so can ….. 'Behind every dark cloud lies a Silver Lining'.

For the last week, we have had our share of 'pouring' at PTV, at least as it pertains to the addition of StrictPay and GlobalDigitalPay. Some new challenges arose each day as we struggled to get the new Digital Currencies online. Again, fortunately, the silver lining arose as well. Thru the struggles we developed a very good rapport with both StrictPay techs and the Managing Director at GDP.

Both these processors have a fantastic presence in this market. StrictPay has a very good customer service response. They have been very helpful in assisting us to get our problems taken care of and we look forward to a great relationship. This should be the Digital Currency of choice for all those that have no issue with privacy, anonymity and are diligent in claiming their incomes for tax purposes. StrictPay of course offers Direct Cash and Bank Wire Deposits as well as a Visa Debit card program. If those services are desirable to you, then this is the processor you should choose.

GlobalDigitalPay offers the other side of the coin. GDP, although new to this market, comes from a well managed, highly favored, extremely reputable source … London Gold Exchange! The rain is also dampening our attempt to get the new website out front and online. We fully expected to make it available within a few hours once the design was complete. Upon a first-hand examination, our programmer said…. “OMG…this is 165Megs and made up of several programs that are going to take me a lot more time to integrate the script into. This is very complex.” I laughed with the designer as I expressed the programmer's reaction. I asked for an explanation of the complexities so I could share them with you. This following was his reply…..

“The new website design is a compilation of XML for Dynamic editing flash content, javascript, JQuery which is a more powerful form of javascript, 3D imaging and After Effects composition. It's designed to give the user a graphical experience while being user friendly by saving time utilizing a slide based site, keeping jumps from page to page to a minimum. It uses CSS3 for high quality images and near tableless design making it more flexible.
